Although I'm almost falling off the chair from tiredness (too much work, really ><), here's a quicklist with the 2008 Summer series. I have to say, this season sucks big time, and with Junjou and VK being broken off I'll have two less series to watch :/
Antique Bakery - of course I'm watching, but I have to say I'm very disappointed with it so far - such LQ animation! Even some the usual BL is better and this isn't even real BL! Just why the hell couldn't they get more money for a work by Yoshinaga Fumi, an ackowledged mangaka?! And how could such a LQ series be put into Noitamina??????? There goes the famed quality... Okay, for the third time it wasn't that bad already, but the contrast between the BG and the characters is huge and disturbing - not to mention I hate 3D CG >< Ad that design - sometimes it looks amazingly good and just like Sensei's original, but mostof the time it's totally off and ugly - makes me want to cry T___T Let's hope it will be better since the story is amazing, Fujiwara Keiji and Miki Shinichirou are just amazing as always (no, don't come with Miyano, he sucks in the role so far ><). Another plus point goes for the OP and ED sequences - good idea with the doll house and the puzzle!
Chocolate Underground - first I wasn't interested, but chocolate being forbidden was just too absurd for not checking this out XD And since the eps last only five minutes, why not ^^ Actually such a world would be hell for me - without choco and sweets... I would die ^^;;;
Natsume Yuujinchou - peeked into the manga and it looks nice - just your average shoujo fantasy with all kinds of monsters and exorcism ^^
Neo Angelique Abyss Second Age - watching of course XD
Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo - Ryoko's Case File - checking this out. Not sure if I'll watch it or not - depends on the atmosphere of the series and my mood.
Sekirei - NO, I'm not watching, but I checked out the first ep because I love Gokurakuin Sakurako's art so much~~~ Argh, even though she's doing fanservice/harem, she's still putting how guys in there *sigh* However I have to curse this series because since she's aving success with it, she's not doing an BL TT__TT Meh, wanna have some more Sensitive Pornograph in anime as well T__T
And that was all already, this season is definitely for the guys... *sigh* I'm still waiting for a certain announcement for later this year, and checking Fansub Wiki every day, but to make it worse, I can't access Anime News network for a few days already, even though it seems working fine for others... On the other hand I made some orders again (Kyouyama Atsuki too~~~~ *__*) and maybe I'll be able to get TTT Re-publish as well~ Yay~~~ |
